Uluntu Community Foundation today joins the rest of the world in celebrating women. We take the time to appreciate each other as women. We are strong, unique, loving, caring, special in our own way and we embrace everything and everyone. Let us celebrate our strength and resilience as women.
As an organisation that works with women and girls, we would like to bring into focus the wonderful things women have done, and continue to do. Let us get past the mentality of assigning demeaning gender roles to women, and recognise their strengths, intelligence and immense potential.
They say behind every successful man is a woman, but we say behind every success is a woman. We, therefore, encourage women’s participation in all activities, even those previously reserved for men.
